Trains between Czech Republic and Croatia

Travel to Bratislava, Brno and Prague on RegioJet trains at affordable prices

From June 30 to July 11, RegioJet trains depart from Prague on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 5.20 pm, with stops in the Czech cities of Pardubice, Brno and Břeclav, Slovakian capital of Bratislava and the Hungarian city of Csorna, and arrive in Rijeka at 8.55 am. Trains depart from Rijeka on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Mondays at 6.35 pm and arrive in Prague at 9.42 am.

From July 11 to August 30, trains will run daily in both directions, and again three times a week in September (the last train from Rijeka departs on September 26).

At Opatija Matulji station, passengers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia can use bus transport to the following destinations:

Opatija, Rabac, Medulin, Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Novigrad, Malinska, Šilo, Vrbnik, Krk, Baška, Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski, Zadar, Sukošan, Biograd, Pakoštane, Omiš, Brela, Baška Voda, Makarska, Podgora, Podaca, Gradac, Šibenik, Primošten, Trogir i Split.

Seat reservation and ticket prices

Passengers can reserve a seat in the following types of carriages:

  • astra wagon with seats with screens built into the front seat - price from 22 euros
  • wagon with compartments - price from 22 euros
  • wagon with beds - price from 30 euros.

Passengers can buy tickets online via the RegioJet website or the RegioJet smartphone app and in Rijeka and Zagreb Main Railway Station.

The ticket price includes the seat reservation and services provided to passengers during the trip (free coffee and breakfast, internet connection, free use of the entertainment portal and other train services).

The train will have 12 wagons with a total of 560 seats. RegioJet cooperates with HŽ Putnički prijevoz, Slovenske železnice and the Hungarian company Continental Railway Solution.
