We are glad to invite you to the Ski World Cup competition in Croatia, called the Audi FIS Ski World Cup “Snow Queen Trophy” 2017, which will take place at the Sljeme Ski Resort overlooking Zagreb, on Tuesday, 03 January 2017, in the slalom for ladies, and on Thursday, 05 January 2017, in the slalom for men.
Audi FIS Ski World Cup races have been taking place since 2005. That year the Croatian Ski Association (HSS) organised the first ladies’ World Cup slalom race, turning Zagreb into an unavoidable stop of the World Cup calendar. In 2008, a men’s slalom race was introduced and since then the Snow Queen Trophy races have been among the most watched World Cup races. Snow Queen Trophy races are special in many respects: Zagreb is the only capital city hosting World Cup races; only at the Sljeme races are the winners of the men’s and ladies’ races crowned Snow King and Queen; and the atmosphere surrounding the races is praised by not only the world’s best slalom skiers but also all the visitors. Consequently, in 2013, the Snow Queen Trophy races were admitted to the Club5 Ski Classics, which gathers traditional organisers of the FIS Ski World Cup races. Zagreb has thus joined the company of the leading organisers of the FIS Ski World Cup races, including Val Gardena, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Kitzbühel, Wengen and Val d’Isere.

Discount is valid from 2 to 6 January 2017 for the purchase of return tickets from all stations on the lines of Croatian Railways to Zagreb Glavni kolodvor and back exclusively or to Stubičke Toplice and back. In order to get a discount, a race ticket is to be presented to the train staff on return journey.
In terms of the validity of the tickets, the provisions of the Tariff 101 apply. Unused or partially used tickets are non-refundable. Upon purchasing the tickets, the passenger is to indicate the purpose of the journey. Discount is not valid for distances shorter than 25km.
Slovenian citizens for return trips from all station on the lines of Slovenian Railways to Zagreb Glavni kolodvor, or Stubicke Toplice can use discount prices.
