Upgraded website and mobile application

On 25 February, the website and mobile application of HŽPP were upgraded.


What’s new?

  • A redesigned home screen with search options by route and train number, including memory of the last 10 searched routes

  • Trains are now color-coded for clearer status information:

         Grey – trains that have completed their journey
         Green – trains that are running on time
         Red – trains that are running late (with the delay time indicated)
         White – trains that have not yet departed

  • Passengers can now track a train that has departed from its origin station but has not yet reached the station from which they are traveling

  • A clearer overview screen with traffic updates and information on railway works

  • Unified purchase of single and season tickets

  • The number of passengers is initially set to 1 (regular fare) for both registered and unregistered users; registered users can enter their discount details in their profile, and the discount will be automatically applied to future purchases

  • Simplified date of birth entry during registration

  • Due to numerous railway works across Croatia, information about replacement bus services on part or all of a route has been implemented to make travel planning easier

  • Display of rail replacement bus notifications within purchased tickets for registered users (“My Tickets”)

E-tickets for domestic travel can be purchased on the HŽ Passenger Transport website and in the HŽPP mobile app which you can download from the Google Play Store and App Store. E-tickets can be paid for using Visa, MasterCard, Diners, or Maestro cards. You can either print the e-ticket or show it to the conductor on your smartphone. Ticket prices purchased online are 10% cheaper compared to ticket office prices.
