Based on agreements with HŽ Passenger Transport (HŽPP), members of the following associations can travel using a smart card:

• Croatian Blind Union
• DODIR – Croatian Association of Deafblind Persons
• Zagreb Association of Disabled Workers

To obtain a smart card, you need:

• an application form for a smart card, which can also be obtained at the ticket office
• a color photograph measuring 3 × 3.5 cm, taken no more than one year ago
• a membership card of the Croatian Blind Union or DODIR / a certificate issued by the Zagreb Association of Disabled Workers
• payment of €6.64 for profile creation (price as of September 10, 2026: €6.64)

The profile is valid for one year from the date of issue.

You can submit the documents at the ticket office. The smart card will be issued within 7 days and can be collected at the ticket office where the application was submitted. The profile creation fee will be charged when the smart card is collected.

With a smart card, you can purchase one-way or return tickets on regular trains for domestic travel and receive the following discounts:

• Members of the Croatian Blind Union
  - 50% discount for the member and one accompanying person
• Members of DODIR – Croatian Association of Deafblind Persons
  - 50% discount for the member and one accompanying person
• Zagreb Association of Disabled Workers
  - 50% discount for retired and unemployed members
  - 30% discount for employed members (for journeys over 25 km)
