Exploring the city, which is defined by the course of the Ljubljanica River flowing through the city centre, is best started at Prešeren Square, from where you continue to the most popular and most beautiful Ljubljana bridge, the Triple Bridge (Tromostovje). On the other side of the Ljubljanica River, you'll find Filip's Castle and Ljubljana Castle, which you can reach by funicular. Enjoy a boat ride on the Ljubljanica River as well. You can buy transport and reservation tickets at the HŽPP international ticket offices. We recommend that you buy your tickets in advance at the international ticket offices. Tickets to the border station can only be purchased at the full price on the train. Tickets with special offers cannot be purchased on the train.
