The International Carnival Parade is the crown jewel of the carnival festivities in the Kvarner region. Every year, thousands of masked participants and a large number of spectators from Croatia and abroad gather to compete in creativity, wit, and originality.

This year’s International Carnival Parade will take place on Sunday, 15 February 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Since the Rijeka Carnival is hard to describe—or fully capture—through photographs or television broadcasts, we invite you to put on a costume this year and travel by train to the Rijeka Carnival, where you can be whatever you want to be!

Ticket Prices
The price of a return ticket from Bjelovar is EUR 25, and from Vrbovec and Zagreb EUR 20.

Children up to 6 years of age travel free of charge. Free tickets can be collected at the ticket office.

Tickets can be purchased at the stations in Bjelovar, Vrbovec, Zagreb Main Station, and on the train, subject to seat availability.
