Before arriving at the station, you can buy a ticket online or via the HZPP app. You can download the app on Google Play and the App Store. 

• Choose where and when you're traveling, and the number of passengers
• Pay by Visa, MasterCard, Diners, or Maestro card
• Print the ticket or show it to the conductor on your smartphone

You can also buy tickets from ticket machines at Zagreb Main Station, Sesvete, Osijek, Slavonski Brod, Vinkovci, Varaždin and Split station.

If you do decide to buy a ticket at the ticket office at the station, check their working hours.
