Trains to Rijeka and Pula
Passengers can travel to Rijeka and Pula in regular trains. For more information, please visit prodaja.hzpp.hr.
Ticket purchase
Tickets with a 40% discount are purchased at ticket offices of HŽPP and online (passengers are entitled to an additional 10% discount for tickets purchased online). Seat reservation on train is mandatory. Reservation is charged 1.06 euros. Special offer is not available on distances shorter than 25km.
Passengers travelling in night trains can buy a ticket for a sleeper, couchette or seating carriage.
Passengers who can choose a journey in a sleeper or couchette until 31 December 2025, are to pay, in addition to the ticket price, the use of a bed or berth at the following prices:
Tickets for berths are purchased at ticket offices and online, while tickets for beds are purchased at ticket offices. Passengers, who are not able to come to the ticket office in person to reserve a seat on the train, are to send their request to rezervacije@hzpp.hr 48 hours before journey at the latest. Date of journey, travel route, number of persons and train number should be indicated. If the passengers are travelling on a night train, it is necessary to indicate whether a passenger intends to travel in a seating carriage, couchette, or sleeper (1-bed, 2-bed, or 3-bed compartment). The passenger will receive a pro forma invoice by email. Upon payment made, passenger will receive a ticket which can be printed or presented to train attendant on the mobile device screen.
Seat reservation in night trains is not mandatory. It can be bought for 1,06 EUR.
TRANSPORTATION OF BICYCLES AND PETS
In daytime trains, bicycles can be transported in a carriage with designated bicycle space (10 spots available).
In night trains, only folding bicycles are allowed, and they must be transported as hand luggage.
The ticket price for a bicycle is 1.99 EUR.
Transportation of pets is allowed on all trains.
