BUDAPEST

Budapest is known as the „Queen of the Danube“. No matter what time of year you find yourself in Budapest – it is always fascinating, whether it´s Christmas time, New Year or the spring, Budapest is one of those cities that you definitely must visit. Take a sightseeing tour of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and discover Buda Castle, Andrássy út, Hero´s Square (Hősők tere) and the Millennium Underground, officially recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

You should also visit the nation´s most important national symbol – the neo-Gothic Parliament, which is the third largest parliament building in the world. If you see a yellow tram, don´t miss it, just get on to experience a ride. There are numerous bars and restaurants, where you can relax and eat tasty lunches. Try Hungary´s unique cuisine and finish off your meal with a glass of delicious dessert wine Tokay.

In late afternoon, you can go on a shopping spree in Váci Street (Váci utca). Spend a nice evening on a boat or in a traditional csarda! If you want to check out one of the numerous clubs, (Budapest is famous for its nightlife and mega clubs), take your pick!
